Internet class: Class is held online weekly on the scheduled days and times.
Course requires an additional 3.5 hours of online asynchronous work per week and is reserved for staff & faculty of the HIDOE.

The course is not listed on the schedule because it is a closed class. Only selected students are given the CRN.

Introduction to Indigenous Hawaiian philosophy and how to engage with Aloha ‘Āina relying upon a methodology and pedagogy consistent with the philosophy being discussed.

Introductory survey of the key terms, texts, and histories of Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities.

HEALTH CLEARANCES
WHAT RECORDS DO I NEED?
You must submit records of the following:
TB Test at age 16 or older.
MMR Immunization, minimum of two (2) shots.
Varicella (Chickenpox) Vaccination
Tdap Vaccination
The UH System requires that immunization clearances be submitted to the Admissions and Records office prior to registration.
Need a low-cost test or have questions? Call our Health Center at (808) 984-3493.
You may be accepted to College without clearance, but you will not be able to register for classes until your health clearance documents are received.
Download the Health Clearance Form and email mauclear@hawaii.edu or fax to our campus Health Center at (808) 242-1578.
REGISTER
STEP 1: Click here to go to STAR Degree. Sign in using your username and password.
STEP 2: Once you are signed in, click on GPS Registration (if you are not already there).
STEP 3: Look for the box that is titled SUMMER 2021. Click the "Register - Add/Drop Classes" button.
STEP 4: If you get a landing page with Videos, simply click "SKIP VIDEOS" at the top right.
You will then be taken to the Pre-Registration Checklist. If you have holds for Health Clearances, click here for information on how to submit your health records to clear those holds.
If your holds are good, go ahead and click the "UPDATE YOUR STUDENT RECORD" button to update your contact and major information. Once you are done with that, you will come back to this window and click the "I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE UH POLICIES" button, and click "Continue".
STEP 5: In the next window, you will click the "ADD PERSONAL CHOICE" button, which will add a course slot for you. Once you see that, click "SELECT A COURSE" next to the new Personal Choice.
STEP 6: In the next window, type your course's CRN number in the CRN box. This will bring up the course you need - click the circle next to that course. You will see it appear next to Personal Choice on the left. Click "CHECKOUT."
STEP 7: In the next window, click the "SUBMIT -ADD/DROP CLASSES" button, and make sure the class registers. You will know because the yellow portion will turn green. You're all set!
